These terms apply when you visit this website, read about the retreat or the Foundation, or write to us. They are an agreement between you and the Sanare for Healthcare Wellness Foundation (“Sanare,” “we,” “us”). If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
A retreat, sponsorship, or gift is a separate arrangement. We will send those terms when they apply. Until then, an enquiry is only a conversation.
Who we are
Sanare is a physician retreat and a foundation. The website is here to explain that work and to receive letters from physicians, organizations, and partners. Nothing on the site is an offer that you can accept by clicking, or a promise that a particular date or place is held for you.
Using the site
You may read the site for your own information, share a link, and write to us through the form. You may not:
- copy the site wholesale, or scrape it for a competing service
- try to break, overload, or interfere with the site
- use it to send spam, or to post anything unlawful or harmful
- pretend to be someone else when you enquire
We may suspend access if we think the site is being misused. We may also change or take down pages at any time.
Enquiries are not bookings
Sending the form on the Enquire page does not reserve a retreat, create a patient relationship, or commit either of us to a fee. We will read what you send and reply when we can. We may decline an enquiry, or suggest that Sanare is not the right fit, without giving a reason.
If we later agree dates, a fee, or a sponsorship, that agreement will be in writing (including email). Until then, these website terms are the only terms that apply.
The retreat is not medical care
Sanare is a rest and recovery program for physicians. It is not a hospital, a clinic, or a substitute for medical, psychiatric, or emergency care. Nothing on this site, and nothing said in an enquiry, is medical advice.
You are responsible for deciding whether travel and a stay are appropriate for you, and for any care you need before, during, or after a visit. If you are in crisis, contact local emergency services or a clinician who already knows you.
What you send us
You confirm that what you write in the form is true as far as you know, and that you have the right to send it. Do not include other people’s private information, or detailed health records, in an enquiry. How we handle what you do send is described in the Privacy Policy.
Our content
The words, photographs, film, illustrations, and marks on this site belong to Sanare or to people who have licensed them to us. You may quote a short passage with a link back. You may not republish the site, use the Sanare name to imply we endorse you, or use the photographs for your own work without asking.
Other sites
We may link to research, partners, or other pages we do not control. Those sites have their own terms. We are not responsible for them.
The site is offered as it is
We work to keep the site accurate and available, but we do not warrant that every page is complete, current, or free of errors, or that the site will always be up. Descriptions of the house, the programme, and the science are for information. They may change.
To the fullest extent the law allows, Sanare is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the site, or from an enquiry you send. Our total liability for a claim about the website itself is limited to the amount, if any, you paid us to use it (which is nothing). Some places do not allow these limits. If you live in one of them, the limit applies only as far as it lawfully can.
If something goes wrong
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If a dispute about the website cannot be resolved by writing to each other, the courts of the United States will have jurisdiction, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page is the date they last changed. If you keep using the site after a change, the new terms apply.
