The lake, the woods, and the water on your terms.
- Guided hikes, foraging, and birdwatching
- Fishing, kayaking, and paddleboarding
- Sunrise and sunset over the lake
An itinerary built on evidence. It begins before you arrive. It follows you home.
Principles
01
No guilt. No earning it. You are here because the evidence says you should be.
02
Curated and personal. Built with a counselor before you ever pack a bag.
03
Every offering is founded on years of research on recovery, attention, and healing. As that research advances, so does the practice.
04
You leave with methods to keep restoring yourself, and a counselor who follows up after you are home. What you practiced here stays.
The days
It begins before you arrive. It follows you home.
01 / 06
A quiet session with your nutrition and research counselor. Fifteen minutes, or thirty. We design your three days around you.
02 / 06
Our team receives you. A sunset drink. A light dinner by the water. Nothing is asked of you.
03 / 06
Sunrise stretching. A hike or a paddle, when the eagles are usually out. Lunch, then the Sanare methods. An afternoon of spa, gardens, and rest. Dinner, and only the activities you want.
04 / 06
Sunrise stretching. Breakfast. In-person CME. More technique, more rest, and a five-course dinner to close.
05 / 06
A packed breakfast. A transfer home. The house lets you go gently.
06 / 06
A follow-up with your counselor once you are back at work, to keep the methods in practice where they are needed. Rest does not end at checkout.

The science
In 1984, a landmark study showed surgical patients with a view of trees recovered faster than those facing a wall. That is not a metaphor. It is Attention Restoration Theory. Directed attention, the kind medicine demands all day, fatigues. Soft fascination, a garden, water, open sky, lets it recover. Sanare is designed around that mechanism, from the porous perimeter to the trees framing every window.
