Sanare and the Sanare for Healthcare Wellness Foundation (“Sanare,” “we,” “us”) run this website so physicians, health systems, and partners can learn about the retreat and write to us. This policy explains what we collect when you do that, why we collect it, and how you can ask us about it.
If you have a question about your information, write to us on the Enquire page and say that it is a privacy request. We will get back to you.
What we collect
We only ask for what we need to answer you.
- When you enquire. Name, email, organization (if you give one), the path you choose (physician, organization, or partner), and your message.
- When you use the site. Standard technical information that any host sees: your browser type, the pages you open, the time of the visit, and a general location inferred from your IP address. We use this to keep the site running, not to build a profile of you.
- When you write back. If we continue a conversation by email, that thread is part of the same enquiry.
We do not ask for medical records, insurance numbers, or payment details on this site. Please do not put sensitive health information in the form. If a retreat later needs anything clinical, we will ask for it separately, for that purpose only, and tell you why.
How we use it
We use what you send us to:
- reply to your enquiry and arrange a conversation or a retreat
- understand whether you are writing as a physician, a sponsor, or a partner
- keep the website secure and working
- meet a legal obligation, if one applies
We do not sell your information. We do not use it for advertising. We do not add you to a mailing list unless you ask us to.
Who we share it with
We share information only with people who need it to do the work: the small team that reads enquiries, and the service providers that host this site or carry email. They are allowed to use it only for that work.
We may also share information if the law requires it, or if we must protect someone from serious harm. If Sanare is ever transferred to another organization that will continue this work, your enquiry records would go with it, under this same kind of care.
How long we keep it
Enquiry records stay with us for as long as the conversation is open, and for a reasonable period after, so we can pick it back up if you write again. Technical logs are kept only as long as we need them to run the site. When we no longer need a record, we delete it or strip it of anything that identifies you.
Cookies
The site may set a small number of cookies or similar files so the pages load and remember basic preferences. We do not use advertising cookies. You can block cookies in your browser; some parts of the site may then work less smoothly.
Your choices
You can ask us to:
- tell you what we hold about you
- correct something that is wrong
- delete your enquiry, unless we are required to keep it
- send you a copy of what you gave us
Write through Enquire and say what you need. If you are in a place with additional privacy rights (for example California, or the UK or EEA), we will honor the ones that apply.
Children
This site is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you think a child has written to us, tell us and we will delete that record.
Security
We take ordinary, reasonable steps to keep enquiry information from being lost or read by the wrong person. No website is perfectly secure. Please do not put passwords, payment numbers, or detailed health histories in the form.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will update this page and the date at the top. The current version is the one that applies.
